Well 2009 is here

I have not felt like sitting here and doing this but will today. Christmas was great my sister did a great job of organising it. There were 18 for lunch and dinner. It was strange not having the grandparents there but we did go and visit them after lunch. Which was good. It was good having petes parents here and not having to travel.

New years was great had our good friends Sam and Gareth and their kids come over for just a relaxing start to 2009.

Have been busy over the holidays, Been to dinosaur sandcastles in frankston, shopping, seen show at shopping centre, Rebecca went to the ballet, parks, beaches , to the races and just relaxing.

Hard to believe the holidays are nearlly over I start my offical babysitting duties next wednesday. I will be looking after my nephew Cooper fulltime. Which I am looking forward to.

Well Rebecca starts 4 year old kinder and David in grade one. I think we have a good year in front of us.

We will have a move which will be pretty big for all of us. Hopefully nothing else to major. Hope your 2009 is a good one.

Things have made lately

I meant to post some of these ages ago but computer was being too slow. So you have cards, teachers presents.

Can you believe it is only 15 sleeps until christmas ...........

Where has the year gone. Well December has already been busy with a christmas card workshop on the 2nd which I really enjoyed.

Went to school to watch David do Jump rope for heart on the 4thhe did a great job.

My Grandpa and Grandmas nursing home had carols on the 5th. My grandpa was santa and David and Rebecca were his reindeer. Which was really cute.

On the 7th we went to Maryborough for my Dh cousin Kathryns 18th Birthday lunch and also found out that her sister Sami is in engaged. Which happened in July. Not long after turning 21.

On the 8th had carols at school for Dave. The Preps were so cute.

Tomorrow being the 11th I have the Dentist and then Rebeccas kinder concert which I am really looking forward to. Then we are catching up with friends on the weekend and then its the wind down of kinder and school. In amogst all that babysitting and the drop offs and pick ups and general gettting ready for visitors who arrive christmas Eve. Have also been busy scrapping which is lots of fun.

Been awhile

Well it's been awhile and I can't believe that christmas is so close.

I thought it was a perfect time to change my blog to something a little more inspiring.

Have been busy making gifts for the teachers and family for christmas. Which I am really enjoying. Will post some pictures tomorrow.

My DH has been getting ready with christmas lights it is going to look a little like national lampoons at our place. The kids are loving helping Pete set up the lights.

Hard to believe my nephew Cooper is 7 months already where has the time gone. I am loving looking after him three days a week. Getting baby fixes without having a baby.

My Aunt who had the fall and broke her pelvis is still on bed rest but at least she is at home now. I think she was going a little stir crazy.

Hard to believe that my baby girl turned four last month. She had a great birthday. She got lots of lovely gifts from her friends.

Really need to get on top of the christmas presents have started but have a long way to go yet. Have ideas for most. Dh will be the hardest I think he will end up with clothes.

Hard to believe that my son has nearlly finished his first year at primary school. He had his first disco the other week they were all so cute. Dress up in their good clothes.

It was funny the other day David had a girl from his class call to talk to him on the phone. It was so cute and he got so embrassed. When I asked him about her. he is only 6 and already got girls calling him. Imagine what We are in for when they are 16!!!!

Layouts and a couple of cards

School Holidays are flying

Well our holidays started with finding out that my Auntie had a fall and fractured her pelvis in three places. Is flat on her back in hospital for six weeks. To make things worse she found out she was top of list for the breast reconstruction required after having breast cancer last year. She now has to wait until she is back on her feet before they will do the reconstruction.

On to better things the holidays have been busy. Last monday caught up with friends which was really good the kids had a ball. Tuesday we have just had a quite day at home. I made playdough for the kids. They played so lovely together. Wednesday we caught up with friends .Then we caught up with my cousin and her bubs harper. On thursday I took the kids ds to visit their great grandparents and then we went and had lunch with my mum and sister at the pancake parlour. Then friday caught up with more friends at the train park where the kids got to go crazy the weather was just gorgeous. Then Saturday we went off to my mum and dads for grand final day. My dad is a Mad Geelong supporter. My sisters partner is a geelong supporter and they dressed cooper up for grand final day.My grandpa is a hawthorn supporter and was happy to see his side win. it was a lovely day enjoying the sunshine.Then we had a quite day on Sunday. Another quite day today the kids have done some painting this morning.

I have actually been busy scrapping I will post layouts later today or tomorrow. I still need to take photos of them. So check back soon for layouts.

Haven't done any paper scrapping this weekend but I did manage these two digital ones. The Love one has a photo of peter and I taken at a wedding in May. The one of cooper photos were taken on friday when i was playing around with camera. Really happy with how they both turned out.
