Busy Busy Busy

So much going on here looking at houses (found nothing yet), School stuff, kinder things, organising birthdays for son and my mum. So much to do, so little time. I feel a little in a spin. But I am making sure I excercise and that I get to bed at a decent time, otherwise I know I'll end up in a heap.

Life is busy

Been awhile since last post and so many things have happened. where do I start?

My grandpa started and finished his radiotherapy. Saw him on the weekend just gone and he loked tired but otherwise not too bad.

Saw Lisa Williams which was a great night. Sam and I didn't have anybody come through but was still good night.

Cooper my nephew turned one. His party was a great day catching up with lots of family and friends.

The school hoildays have been and gone. So we are into term 2. Kids club starts for Rebecca on the 1st of May. Which is a little scary.

Started organising mums 60th which is on the 22nd May we are hopefully having photos taken on the weekend for her present if the weather allows, fingers crossed.

Found out this week that we have to move haven't got the offical letter yet but from offical letter we will have 60 days. So we are in the process of working out if will be better to rent again or buy. Hopefully will have someone come out and talk to us and discuss.

My sister Melinda and her partner bought a house which is exciting. They move at the end of may.
Not sure when I'll get a chance to write again might be after we move.
So until then take care of you and the ones you love.

Life is not bad

Feeling a lot better about things knowing grandpas results. Grandpa has started his treatment and the cancer wasn't anywhere else which is a relief. Thank you to my wonderful friends Sam and Jane for your shoulders and ears over last few weeks. Means a lot to have such amazing friends.

Had a great night the other night Rebecca had a birthday party and they got their faces painted so cool. Was fun night as our friends Sam and Gareth were there too and we had dinner was just so relaxing. Will add some photos later.

Looking forward to school holidays which are only a week and a half away. Ready for a break from routine.

Paid the rest of my money for the scrapbooking retreat in June so looking forward to that. Hanging out with my buddy Sam.

Got some fun things coming up a scrapbooking crop on sunday need to get some photos printed for fresh ideas. Got Lisa williams on Monday night which I am really looking forward too. I would love either Sam or I to have someone come through would just make the night.

During holidays catching up with family and my nephew Cooper turns 1. Where has that year gone?

Well have a good week.

A little Sad today

I found out today that my grandpa has prostrate cancer well he has actually had it for about 10 years but its been kept in check. In the last year or so has been having problems. Well he went to the specialist last week and he spoke about radiation. So he went to Peter Mac yesterday and he has to get a cat scan and bone scan next week to make sure the cancer isn't anywhere else before they start the radiation. And then he might have radiation for 4 weeks a couple of times a week or 2 weeks of 5 days a week of radiation. But will know more next week after the scans. He has been going down hill since he had a fall and broke his shoulder a couple of years ago. But he is doing alright for 90. His is lucky that he has a gold vetrerans card so he can get into Peter Mac pretty much straight away once everything organised where as there is 3 months waits at other places and the oncoligist said we can't wait that long. Well i will write more when I know more.
Take care

Hard to believe that it;s almost March

Where have the last two months gone. Hard to believe tomorrow is the 1st of March. Then my birthdaybeing only 3 sleeps away. Tomorrow Sam and I are doing the lilydale lake 4km Run/walk again and are going to try and better our times of 40 plus minutes last year.

Been busy with school and kinder which I think is making time fly.

Health concerns for a few people in my family making me feel a little down. Then my health concerns so went to docotrs and I had some tests. One more test to rule out everything hopefully. Then I will be able to relax again and feel more like ME.

I felt my blog needed another design change. As they say a change is as good as a holiday.

Well then kids have both settled into Kinder and school. David took a little bit more time but is finally feeling good. He got a pupil of the week a couple of weeks ago for persisting with difficult tasks. Which was a good booster for his confidence.

My sister and her partner have been looking at houses. They were having a second look at one today.

Sam and I got tickets to LISA WILLIAMS which I am really looking forward to. She is a medium Clairvoyant you can visit her site here http://lisawilliamsmedium.squarespace.com/

I am doing a 52 question Challenge from Emily Falconbridge and am a little behind. Hve done three. But when she post the questions I answer them then and then use that answer on the tag. Really enjoying it.

Well Peter is taking the kids shopping today to get my birthday present which I think is very cool. The fact the kids asked him was cute.

Scrapped some layouts the other week to send off to be made into albums to give to people who lost everything in the Victorian Bushfires. I did a boy page and a girl page. Will upload them too.

Ok well I am going to try and do this more often. For my self like a diary.

Have a good week and take care of YOU. :-D
Will try and upload photos to computer today and take some of the tags have done so far.

Give the gift of memories

Sarah Gladman has started making 'Memory Gifts for the victims of the Victorian bushfires'.As scrappers, one of the most important things we deal with on a daily basis are memories. Family memories, memories of loved ones, memories of holidays, birthdays, christenings, bbq’s and days at the beach. These families in Victoria have got no tangible evidence of their lives left. No family photos. No happy snaps. You can replace a fridge, but you can’t replace years of momentos. In order to help out these family begin to put their lives back together I have started a scrapbooking plan - called “MEMORY GIFTS”.Quite simply, I ask each and every one of you who read this blog to donate a 12 x 12inch almost completed scrapbook LO to the “Memory Gifts” program. Each page will be sent to me. I will collect them and bind them, then hand them over to the head of Pastoral Care for the Victorian Catholic Education Office, Maria Kirkwood in Melbourne. It will not be just Catholic families benefiting, it will be anyone who needs it. The albums will then be distributed to the principals of the 4 schools that burned down, who will know exactly who to give them to.Each family devastated by fire will be (in time) given album pages to help them begin their memories again. Those families can then approach their own families for copies of photos to put into the albums, or simply start putting in fresh memories. If you think you can help, please leave me a comment and I will reply with my postal address so that you can send on your page. Any help you can give will be much appreciated.I plan to have these albums finished by the 20th of March - that gives us a month to get cracking and create as many pages as we can! Many thanks on the behalf of the Victorian families who have lost everything.Sares xFor more information please visit Sarah's blog : http://sares1911.wordpress.com/2009/02/10/what-a-week/

Well 2009 is here

I have not felt like sitting here and doing this but will today. Christmas was great my sister did a great job of organising it. There were 18 for lunch and dinner. It was strange not having the grandparents there but we did go and visit them after lunch. Which was good. It was good having petes parents here and not having to travel.

New years was great had our good friends Sam and Gareth and their kids come over for just a relaxing start to 2009.

Have been busy over the holidays, Been to dinosaur sandcastles in frankston, shopping, seen show at shopping centre, Rebecca went to the ballet, parks, beaches , to the races and just relaxing.

Hard to believe the holidays are nearlly over I start my offical babysitting duties next wednesday. I will be looking after my nephew Cooper fulltime. Which I am looking forward to.

Well Rebecca starts 4 year old kinder and David in grade one. I think we have a good year in front of us.

We will have a move which will be pretty big for all of us. Hopefully nothing else to major. Hope your 2009 is a good one.

Take care
